The electrical panel is the heart of the electrical system in your home. If the heart (panel) malfunctions or stops working, you could have a big problem. All power coming from your utility company comes through this panel. If your home has a fuse panel or an obsolete circuit breaker panel or even worse still...a panel that has lost its UL approval because it doesn't operate properly, it might be wise to consider a new circuit breaker panel.

One of the common things that people notice in their homes is flickering lights and outlets that don't work sometimes but do at other times. One of the reasons this happens is that the electrical panel is old and/or may have a bad or burnt connection point within it. This is not a good thing. Poor connections, no matter what the reason is, can lead to more damage and possibly a fire.

The other issue with some older panels may have been forced to stop production many years ago by UL listing authorities because they do not operate properly. These panels are very dangerous. All circuit breakers are designed to trip quickly, i.e. turn off the power within a fraction of a second when there is a potential risk of fire or a risk of a person getting electrocuted. In most cases, the breakers inside these old, obsolete panels will take a whole minute to trip and in some instances, will not shut off the power at all. There is a clear and present danger relate to having these panels and breakers in your home. Someone could be electrocuted or the panel could cause a fire in your home.

Installing a new electric panel will increase your safety and peace of mind as well as increase the resale value of your home. We can remove your old panel and install a new top quality panel within one day. We will do this with as little disruption to you as possible, and we guarantee to you we will have your power back on before we leave your home.

When changing out your electric panel, it is also a good time to determine if the main service (the main electrical power being supplied by your power company) coming to your home is large enough to handle all your electrical needs for today and for the future.

Changing out an electrical panel and/or your main service is a serious project. Its a job for the electrician who has the manpower, experience, training and equipment to do it right the first time. It's a job for the electrician who will guarantee that the project will be finished on time: guarantee the workmanship for a period of 5 YEARS; and guarantee that you and your home will be treated with the highest respect; guarantee not to leave your home till you are 100% satisfied.

We provide those guarantees and many more to you...in writing. It has been and always will be our way of doing business.

A typical service upgrade consists of the following tasks...

1. We remove your existing unsafe and obsolete fuse box.

2. We will install a new circuit breaker panel of appropriate size for your    home.

3. We will install new breakers and connect your existing circuits to them.

4. We will label the breakers to help you identify the circuits.

5. Upgrade the grounding system by driving a ground rod and installing the    proper size ground wire to the water pipe system in your home.

6. Relocating your electric meter from inside your home to outside. Where the power company can read it accurately.

7. We use only copper wire while most electricians continue to use aluminum wire.

Key Benefits of fuse box replacement.

  • Fuse box's are obsolete and should be replaced.
  • Not user friendly. Changing fuses can be frustrating and difficult.
  • The box is to small and there is no space for additional wiring.
  • Your insurance company may not renew your homeowners insurance with an outdated fuse box.
